Indo Western LookBook – 2

The only rule is don’t be boring and dress cute wherever you go.
Life is too short to blend in.

Hie guys,

I am back with another blog and this one is a part 2 of the indo western lookbook. Well I did an indo western look long back and thought of coming up with a new lookbook with a slight western touch to it. When we talk of indo western looks the first few clothes that come to our mind are ethnic skirts, dhoti pattern pants, croptops, tops or jackets with some traditional prints so basically prints play a very important role here and to find a perfect print pf your choice online is a big task.

So I recently came across this online store called FASHIANA.COM (Insta handle – @fashianadotcom) which is an Indian clothing company that deals in beautiful handmade printed apparels, accessories, bedsheets, home decor and alot of other stuffs at such affordable rates that you wont be able to stop yourself shopping from their collection. Have a look at their website :

I received this beautiful Wrap Around Long Skirt from the brand and this is how I styled it. Have a look at teh pictures :

Outfit deets :

Wrap Around Long Skirt – FASHIANA ( )
Sheer Black top – WESTSIDE
Red Sling – BAGCLAN (@bagclan_bags)
Tassel Choker – KNOTMECUTE (@knotmecute)

That’s all for my indo western lookbook! Hope you guys had fun reading the blog as much as I had while writing it

formals, lookbook,

Good look is not in your hands but looking good is only in your hands.

My style is definitely schizophrenic, it does change from day to day a lot. It depends on my mood, sometimes I’ll be going through a girly, childlike stage and wear a pretty lace dress or sometime I will be more professional and wear formal clothes. Then at times I’ll be moody and just wear black or maybe stay at home in my PJs. My mood swings really helps me experiment with different styles and looks. But most importantly, wearing the correct dress for any occasion is a matter of good manners.

With fast growing corporate world and the race of becoming a leading brand, companies often expect their employees to look presentable 24×7 and as its said that ‘Your first impression is your last impression’ perfectly suits for all the MNCs. I have myself worked in a Multi National Company in the past and I know how important role your outfit plays in corporate world. Today’s blog is a highly requested one as I have been asked alot about the formals wear for women so I decided to do my first blog for the FORMALS look.

The most important part while you are dressing up for formals is a formal shirt. You just cannot call it formals if you don’t have formal shirts with you. Often, its tough to find a decent store for women’s formal wear but I recently came across a brand which deals in formal shirts specially for women called BOWTIE FORMALS (Insta handle – @bowtieformals) which is a Kolkata based clothing brand. You can checkout their website too –

So, I received two pretty formal shirts from them, one is a crisp cream colour full sleeves lining shirt and the second one is a pretty pink short sleeves shirt. I kept the look minimal by styling these shirts with a pair of formal black trousers and my white kitten heels. I switched bags with both the looks and carried a blazer with my second look (with pink shirt).

Here are the pictures of how I styled both the looks.

FASHION TIP : You can also pair up these formal shirts with a knee length pencil skirt, keeping the colours subtle like black and shades of grey. Hair styles may vary from high pony, low bun or braids like french braid or a side braid, keeping the makeup minimal.

The pretty stripped handbag is from BAG CLAN (Insta handle – @bagclan_bags) make sure you check them out as well.

That’s all for this time! Hope you guys had fun reading the blog as much as I had while writing it ❤
